Chef in residence
Each month, for one night only, a chef will take residence to prepare a one-off meal for an intimate crowd. It’s a unique approach to our culinary scene — one that opens the floor for spontaneity and experimentation. Roses looks to our hospitality friends who throw the best dinner parties and asks: what do you love to make and want to share with people?
Our residency dinners usually fall on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday as these are the days working chefs have off. An added bonus of this means that those working in hospo get the rare opportunity to eat out themselves.

WINEMAKER IN RESIDENCE
Once a month, we host a winemaker to create their dream wine list. These curated lists will be accompanied by delicious supper plates by Karl Bayly or Roses / Cooked Plates.
This series focuses on collaborating with small, independent and thoughtful makers creating wine naturally, with respect to the land.

BAKER IN RESIDENCE
For one weekend day every month or so, a bakery takes residence to create a unique offering just for Roses. This gives you a tasty chance to sample some truly exceptional baking and it gives local independent bakers and micro-bakeries without brick-and-mortar, the opportunity to play cafe for the day.
